Weddings
Music will be the rhythm of your wedding celebration, and as such, requires special attention when planning for your big day. Booking the wrong entertainment can be a disastrous mistake on what should be the most magical and memorable day of your life.
The Blue City Trio has collectively played hundreds of weddings over the years and knows how important the right music is for you on your wedding day. Unlike a lot of groups, weddings are our favorite events to play, and we take great pride in making sure that we help make your wedding the magical and memorable day that you have always dreamed of.
Planning a wedding can be a stressful and frustrating exercise, but when you hire Blue City, you absolutely do not have to worry about the music. We work in consultation with you, working around your schedule and respectful of your requests. We will help plan selections for your first dance, for the parents dance, for the bouquet toss, etc. We also provide background music (live or recorded) for the dinner portion of the program, and uptempo dance music (recorded) during the breaks to keep the party going.
If you wish, we can also provide the music for your ceremony featuring the soft, romantic sound of solo nylon string guitar.
If you have a favorite or special song that is outside our usual repertoire, we will learn and arrange it for you. For recent weddings we’ve been asked to play everything from Sinatra and Dean Martin, to AC/DC and the Bee Gees. We have a massive repertoire that covers almost every musical genre imaginable:
